The skiing is great with beautiful tree lined runs and lots of fun to be had! It is part of the grand Massif area with Flaine's snow sure north facing bowl.
There is a superb ESF set up in Morillon with lessons for all ages from 3 and a kindergarten for younger children.'
Bike
Morillon is great for road biking, not only for its spectacular scenery, but also for its accessibility and quality of rides. Chalet Jordan is a superb base for several excellent rides, all very different. Every few years sees the Tour De France pass through the region. The owner is a keen cyclist and will happily provide routes, tips etc
There are also many mountain bike trails accessed from the lifts in summer too!
Summer
In summer Lac Bleu really comes to life as an activity and family destination. It is a two minute walk from Chalet Jordan. Lac Bleu is completely stunning with it's mountain backdrop and has a life guard patrolled sandy beach and swimming.
At Lac Bleu you will find a great play park, tennis and basketball courts, high ropes suitable from 3 to adult and a great riding stables for mountain treks.
Culture
The village itself is steeped in history and is a real working village unspoilt by tourism. It has its very own weekly market on Wednesdays, as well as various concerts in the square and ancient church. Nearby Samoens and Sixt also bost numerous historical and medieval buildings.
Eat and Drink

Morillon has a good selection of restaurants ranging from pizza to local specialty. We especially like: La Covagne - Bar / Restaurant at Lac Bleu, is situated right on the lake, with a lovely atmosphere and great for lunch or dinner. Le Bon Coin, is a small bar with local atmosphere and often has live music. The local supermarket has a fantastic selection of regional produce and runs tastings.
Walk

Morillon and the Haute Giffre valley really is a walkers' paradise. Whether you wish to take a gentle stroll along the banks of the River Giffre or go out on a few days serious hiking and climbing up from 700m to 3100m .
The trails are signposted and with around 900km of marked trails, you are spoilt for choice. Maps and books available from the Tourist Office.
